The front porch is the FIRST THING that people see when they enter your home and unless you’re a blogger or a home decorator you definitely need something timeless. Spring leads the way to warmer weather, beautiful blooms, and lots of sitting out on the porch that’s why a seating area is very important. It’s no surprise I love decorated front porches right? When you want your home to feel more welcoming, inviting and fresh, there’s no better spot to spruce up than the entry. All you need are a few items: rocking chairs or benches, garden stools, some flowers, a welcoming floor mat and last but not least outdoor fade resistant pillows. Everything should be weather resistant for obvious reasons. Pinterest has tons of ideas but I wanted to create for my client something simple but different. I installed a beautiful weather resistant two- tone swing. How cute is that! Four rocking chairs, garden stools as end tables, greenery and yes, lots of pillows. I loved the final result! a timeless front porch that they can enjoy for many years to come.
